How does an air cannon work?

 

The air cannon is a specially designed device aimed at resolving flow problems caused by material blockages in various kilns, silos, chutes, pipelines, and storage bins.

 

The air cannon releases a stored quantity of compressed air—ranging from 4 to 400 liters, depending on the AIRCHOC model—through nozzle pipelines connected to kilns, silos, chutes, and storage bins in an instant. The sudden release of compressed air generates powerful airflow that is directly applied to the material, effectively clearing blockages and promoting flow.

 

During the production process, if material buildup, crust formation, or blockages occur, not only will productivity be affected, but also certain losses will result. Utilizing the highly efficient and reliable AIRCHOC® air cannons or the MACSY blast systems can effectively address material buildup and blockage issues in material flow, thereby stabilizing and improving the production process.
