Twelve organizations, including Hailuo and Huaxin, were awarded the title of Advanced Unit—The 3rd Conference on Building Materials Enterprises “Going Global” Held.

 In the golden autumn of October, fruits are abundant and ripe. The 3rd Conference on Building Materials Enterprises “Going Global” was solemnly held in Beijing on October 31. The primary task of this conference is to further implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important initiative of the “Belt and Road” and to promote a new pattern and achieve new goals for the development of China’s building materials industry as it “goes global.”

  Attending the conference were Qiao Longde, President of the China National Building Materials Federation; Wu Hongliang, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Investment Department of the National Development and Reform Commission; Liu Fang, Director of the Trade Remedies Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce; Chen Guoqing and Zhang Dongzhuang, Vice Presidents of the China National Building Materials Federation; Paula Gopi-Scoon, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; Stephen Seetan Singh, Ambassador of the Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago in China; Mamadou Ndiaye, Ambassador of the Embassy of Senegal in China; Negus Kobed, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Ethiopia in China; Li Siti, Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Indonesia in China; Glenn Peñalanda, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of the Philippines in China; Mafuzul Alam Khan, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Bangladesh in China; Jamel, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Afghanistan in China; Fang Qili, Counselor of the Embassy of Italy in China; De Fang, First-Class Counselor of the Embassy of Cameroon in China; Lu Wenjie, Counselor of the Embassy of Rwanda in China; Shota Abradze, First-Class Secretary of the Embassy of Georgia in China; Xu Ningning, Executive Chairman of the China-ASEAN Business Council; as well as responsible officials from the China Association for Overseas Industrial Development, the China National Light Industry Council, the China Construction Industry Association, and building materials associations from various provinces and cities. Also present were representatives from enterprises in the building materials and related sectors, representatives from research institutes, universities, consulting firms, and other third-party institutions, along with representatives from Beijing Television and other relevant industry media—altogether numbering over 400 participants. The meeting was chaired by Sun Xiangyuan, Secretary-General of the China National Building Materials Federation.
